Notes Performing 1860's. Died in 1883. Mr Stuart O'Brien, who has been suffering for some time past from cancer in the tongue, died in Melbourne last week. Mr O'Brien has appeared very little upon the stage since his visit to New Zealand some time back with Mr Williamson's 'Struck Oil ' Company, and at the time of his death he was proprietor of an hotel in the suburbs of Melbourne. (Otago Witness, Issue 1659, 8 September 1883, Page 23). HIs wife died in August 1884. Comedian.
