Notes Known as a 'low comedian'. Died in November 1906. Olly Deering was a familiar figure on the Australian boards for the last two decades. He has often toured New Zealand, sometimes with his own companies, sometimes as a leading member of others. He was remarkably clever in 'old man ' parts, and made a great character of 'Jakes,' in 'The Silver King.' (Star, Issue 8780, 17 November 1906, Page 5).
