Notes Warwick was born Alister Warwick McKenzie but was always called Warwick, or by his nickname 'Wog'. He was a classically trained musician who furthered his musical studies overseas with Theodore Spiering and Antonio de Grassi. In the early part of his career he toured under the name of 'The Australian Sundowner' with Ben Fuller's Vaudeville circuit.
