Description Alec Ritchie, like many of his contemporaries in the 1950s, went overseas to pursue an acting career. Now he returns, successful and highly regarded, to his native Australia to make a film with a British production company. But circumstances have changed during his absence and the welcome he was expecting does not come easily as his past threatens to impact on his future plans.
