The Australian Ballet Foundation presents The Australian Ballet in Pas de Quatre, Orpheus & The Concert.
Perrot's original choreography from 1845 was lost & the most lasting of the reconstructions was created by Sir Anton Dolin in 1940 for American Ballet Theatre & received its Australian premiere in 1952 by the National Theatre Ballet.
In 1987 Glen Tetley choreographed the ballet Orpheus for The Australian Ballet which they performed at the Royal Opera House, Covent Gardens in 1988.
