Description |
Cannibal, the second work in The Trilogy Series excavates the shimmering vibrations of Thousands, to explore a durational earthquake body. Day explored how driving these rhythmic intensities along trajectories in space, might further develop the potential of the body to exhaust it's limitations, whilst sustaining it's energetic force.
Cannibal inhabits a space of liminality, an endless surface or blank slate which extends to the body of the performer. Materials have been bleached, removed, whited-out, silenced. The power of this work is it's restrained violence, not the violence of an act but the very violence of the force of life itself. |
