The Quartet is renowned for its precision in performance and breathtaking unanimity of tone and technique. The group performs on four matched Amati instruments loaned them by the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington DC. The instruments were created by the Italian luthier, Nicolo Amati, between 1656 and 1677 |
