| Description |
Three one-act plays. 'The Old Lady Shows Her Medals' was first published in J.M Barrie's collection 'Echoes of the War' in 1918, which also included the stories 'The New Word', 'Barbara's Wedding' and 'A Well-Remembered Voice'. It is set on the home front during the First World War. Noel Coward's 'Rain Before Seven' is a satirical thrust at trial honeymoons. In addition to the three playlets, a programme of monologues and a dance number was given. |
