Gaite Parisienne - choreographed by Maurice Bejart, Music by Offenbach arr. Manuel Rosenthal. A lavish "extravaganza" ballet about a young dance student in Paris who seeks release from the rigid disciplines of classical study by escaping into a world of fantasy.
