Series of 8 exciting debut concerts featuring gifted young Australian performers. The recital is one of the rites of passage for the young singer or instrumentalist, and the Debut Series is designed to establish a national platform for their talent.
This 4th recital is by Fiona Maconaghie, winner of the Sun Aria competition. Fiona has been highly acclaimed by critics for her performance as Drusilla in the Australian Opera's 1988 production of The Coronation of Poppea and is bound for great things. Program includes works by Arne, Haydn, Mozart, Debussy, Wolf and R. Strauss. |
