| Description |
Accompanied by massed pipe and brass bands, the Festival cast will parade from First Fleeters Park, around Circular Quay to the Opera House Forecourt where the official opening will take place. Afterwards there will be performances by some of the Festival's groups and display of arts and crafts around the Western Broadwalk.
