| Description |
In June 2008, award-winning writers Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen travelled to Jordan to interview a cross-section of Iraqi citizens who had fled the chaos and violence of the American invasion. Their firsthand accounts of life since that fateful day have been crafted into a powerful and immediate storytelling experience that puts a human face on the conflict. The nine subjects - including an imam, a pharmacist and a theatre director - provide pinpricks of understanding in a world of dark complexity, casting a moving spectrum of heartbreak and hope. |
