Australia's leading Aboriginal singer/songwriter, Gurrumul Yunupingu, will perform in Odisha his songs of identity, spirit and connection with the land, its elements and ancestral beings.
Gurrumul, a member of the Gumatji clan living off the northern coast of Australia, will connect Aboriginal Australia with Odisha, a state where one in every five individuals identifies with an indigenous group. The concert will also feature local Odishan artists in a meeting of cultures. |
