The feature star of the Tivoli programme, Highlights from Hollywood, Miss Anna May Wong delighted the audience with her versatility. Commencing with a Chinese number, Miss Wong followed it with a Basque love song, an "appreciation" of the Australian girl, and the dramatic number Half Caste Woman. Of the remainder of the well-balanced programme were the Andrini Brothers, Evers and Delores, Sonny Lamont and a number of ballets. |
