In Tales of Love, the performers reinterupted, juxtaposed and intertwined love songs from the early 13th through to the late 20th centuries and created an incisive vision of the Western ideal of love.
Calculated Rick Opera Productions was formed to take opera out of the 19th century traditional form and to provide new opera work that blurs the boundaries between opera, music/theatre and performance. Tales of Love was the company's first production.
