Sydney Spring International Festival of New Music presents these talented musicians perform the world premiere of Rosalind Page's Macula Lutea, the Australian premieres of Cendres by Finnish composer, Kaija Saariaho and Folk Songs by the Iranese born, Reza Vali. The concert concludes with American, George Crumb's Vox Balaenae (Voice of the Whales) which pitches four electronic instruments against marine recordings of the great mammal. |
