Ken Hall's adaption of the Bert Bailey successfull play '"The Squatter's Daughter" opened the all-Australian Civic Theatre today, with a picture that is going to surprise people.' Introduced a short-lived policy of exclusive Australian films screened at the newly re-opened Civic Theatre (formerly the Haymarket). A popular success it ran for many weeks and was a popular success. |
