Richard Tipping's shop placard reads 'sorry, we're open', his road sign reads 'bark here'. It takes a moment to register the these are not regulation issue signs. Tipping is faithful to the standards nut a changed word or letter transforms the signs into utterances, which are variously poetic, philosophical, political - and always amusing. |
