This is The Studio's first collaboration with the Naked Theatre Company. Joan works as an embalmer in a suburban Australian funeral home. Working late one night on a body, and after a series of disastrous blind dates, Joan hatches a plan. She will build herself a boyfriend from the parts of clients that come through the door. Trying to enrich her own life through the dead remains of her clients, gradually Joan creates her 'perfect' man - going slightly mad in the process! |
