Description |
Poetry and rhyme was an integral part of Victorian Music Hall. Often performers would use poetry or song lyrics as social commentary, informing audiences on current events and political issues of the day - a precursor to social media, in a way. Who better, then, than Faded Music Hall Star, Ida Barr, to preside over this evening of poetry recitals? |
