The Adamstown Brass Band, who will render choice selections; also the Lambton and Adamstown Choirs, who will contribute some sterling pieces of music. "Appeals to your charity will be made by the hon. members, Messrs. Eden and Melville, on behalf of the Widow Keliher, of Adamstown, whose husband died recently, leaving her in delicate health, with three children." (Afternoon event in Adamstown, with associated evening event at the Victoria Theatre.) Then, in the evening the Choirs and Band will appear, together with the noted 4th Regiment Band. Also, several of the district's popular Singers will take part, including Mrs. Jones, of Stockton, Miss Williams, Miss Jenkins, and others. The Hon. Ninian Melville has Kindly consented to preside." |
