Description In re-examining the story of Robinson Crusoe, the play works on two levels. On one leve it satirises Imperialism, particularly that of 19th century England, looking at attitudes to God, religion, education, ethic populations, property, crime and punishment and sportsmanship. The other aspect of the play deals with the coming together of two people of different personality.
