Description It is doubtful whether Rostand's "Cyrano de Bergerac" has been staged anywhere in the world with more beautiful settings than those which graced it on Saturday night at the Theatre Royal. During the present century Sydney has seen some vivid examples of stagecraft. Oscar Asche's opulent decorations have become famous ... But "Cyrano de Bergerac" brings forward something which is entirely new to the local public.
