the film became the most extraordinary 'sleeper' in Australian film history. Made cheaply by Lytton's company during 1912 it was considered poor and not released. Later Lytton gave the film to a faithful employee Arthur Sterry who bagan screening it in country NSW. It did profitable business for many years. |
