Based on Goethe's dramatic version of the legend. The version of Faust currently being presented by the Lyric Opera of Queensland was created in 1985 as a co-production with the Victorian State Opera by arrangement with the English national Opera. Billie Brown worked with English director, Ian Judge, to stage the Melbourne production of Faust in 1990.
