Description |
Visual artist Kate McMillan will intrigue Sydney audiences with a remarkable installation that unveils the intertwining histories of imprisonment and banishment linked to island sites of Port Arthur and Wadjemup/Tottnest Island, as well as the Greek Island of Pontikonisi. Coupling concealed histories with disquieting sound, 'The Moment of Disappearance' is a multi-sensory exploration of an unexamined past and one man's descent into madness. |
