The organisers of the concert were Captain Anthon, the popular master of the Bullarra, and Captain Laurie, Marine Superintendent of the A.S.S. Company, at Fremantle, and the chief contributors to the entertainment were the members of Mr. W. H. Manning's Grand Opera Company.
