In an effort to publicise the company and the artform, Entr'acte approached Councils to give one-off lecture-demonstrations or workshops within their facilities. Hurstville Council was the first to respond. More took up the offer in 1981. The workshop was taught in the community centre. |

Sydney Corporeal-Mime Theatre became Entr’acte Theatre Ltd in 1982. Teaching publicised the company and art-form. It was also critical in paying the rent of a full-time studio in which theatre pieces were being developed and rehearsed.
