Studies were followed by MIME SPECTRUM performances with the students during the Sydney Festival. |

Sydney Corporeal-Mime Theatre became Entr’acte in 1982. Studio teaching across 12 months was both an educational good and a strategy to expand the company members from two. Expansion began in 1982. In 1986 it revised its recruitment strategy: experienced actors who were open to the movement discipline joined and were offered company training to effect a coherent theatrical language.
