The Coastal Players were formed in 1976 specifically to present this musical in the new Burnie Civic Centre Theatre involving people from almost every centre along the NW Coast from Latrobe to Wynyard. Building delays thwarted plans initially but it eventually became the last production in the old Burnie Theatre and the first in the new. (Performance dates unavailable for the Burnie Civic Centre).
