| Description |
Working with phenomenal new digital staging technology, director-choreographer Davide Livermore creates an extravagant theatrical experience of Verdi’s monumental opera Aida. Opulent costumes and sensational visual effects reveal the glorious splendour of Egypt as it’s never been seen before.
Can love conquer all? A country ravaged by armed conflict is on the verge of collapse. Aida, a young prisoner of war in love with Radames, the General of the opposing army, finds herself torn between warring parties. We watch as they attempt to fulfil their desire in a world that refuses to allow it.
