| Description |
Lunchhour theatre play. “The play centres around two white South Africans in a prison cell, and their interactions provide a mirror of South African life. Racism, apartheid, the pass system, the police state and ultimately the hopelessness of the South African system are all presented and examined. The tragedy of the play is that both characters, one a supporter and one an opponent of the regime, are caught in a labyrinth from which they cannot escape.” |
