The story of a lost moment in the Anglo-Indian love affair, based on a painting by an unknown Indian artist in Delhi in the early years of the 19th century. The painting depicts Sir David Ochterlony (the first East Indian Company representative at the court of the Mughal Emperor Shah Alam) enjoying a naatch (dance presentation). |
