Description Queen Louise rules her comic court of fools until the po-faced bishop stops their bawdy fun. The peace of King Kenneth's palace is disturbed by rowdy peasants demanding food. In a feat of medieval economic rationalism, Kenneth figures that if there are fewer peasants than less food will be needed. Woodenhead is a medieval fable with many reasons for modern times. Where do the intellectually disabled, deformed, and the different fit in our contemporary, urbanised and increasingly dislocated societies?
