The Tritition Variety Company (Mr. Fred Percival proprietor) opened to a moderate house in the new Lyceum-hall, corner of Elizaeth and Campbell streets, last night. A judiciously varied programme was gone through, in which the comic element was supplied by the Fitz brothers (Harry and James), Mr. George Hall, Mr. Sydney Phillips, and Mr. W. Wesley. Miss Florrie Roe contributed serio-comic songs, Mr. Johnny Howard, Miss Howard, Mr. George Hall, and others ballads and motto songs, Mr. Olley Wilson Irish specialities, Mr. Harry Leslie dramatic selections, and Mr. Sam Hadfield national dances.
