| Description |
Anne Forbes, with direction by Nick Blake, gives a solo performance of "Out of Hand," inspired by a dream and involving a fridge, marmite jar, eggbeater, doll, dough, birdcage and birthday cake. Anne Forbes calls it "A performance for Objects" ; it's about the Babies and Baking. "Whimsy, memorable and religious awe were unexpectedly fused into assured performance", said the NZ Listener.
Some will consider its presentation by the New Zealand Puppet Theatre a conjuring trick in itself for there's not a single page to be seen. Anne Forbes, however, holds to art of puppetry to be the animation |
