Description The 1992 Festival Opera, Richard Strauss' Salome, has all the ingredients to create the same impact that Die Meistersinger did in the 1990 Festival. It will feature a superb international cast together with the full resources of the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra and conductor Heinz Wallberg, directed by outstanding young German director Michael Temme.
