Representatives of 11 Churches attended the opening of the Methodist Church's Lyceum Theatre. The $750,000 theatre has been built on the Pitt Street site of the old Lyceum, which was destroyed by fire in February 1964. The theatre is the second stage of the $2 million Wesley Centre being built for the church. |
