Description Eight actors. Two directors. Go.
During AK07, Silo Theatre discovered and developed the next generation of contemporary actors with The Ensemble Project. Playing to critical acclaim and capacity audiences, a dozen actors were led through theatrical bootcamp, as two works were created to be played in repertory. In Auckland Festival 2009, Silo Theatre delivers the next generation of performance.
Life is a Dream is an excavated classic directed by Michael Hurst. Calderon de la Barca’s masterpiece from the Spanish Golden Age is an exultant journey through a fairytale landscape of destiny, desire and illusion.
Listen to the soundtrack of life. Experience the thrill of the new. This is visceral theatre at its best.
