| Description |
Spreading Out finds Colin and Elizabeth retired to the Wairarapa and living on a lifestyle block growing grapes - Pinot Noir of course. Three generations of the family have gathered for a few days to celebrate the New Year, when their old neighbours, Reg and Isobel, now living in Queensland, turn up unexpectedly and invite themselves to stay. Family differences flare up and peer resentments flourish in this hilarious comedy of bad manners that deftly satirises our 2004 lifestyle. In a theatrical coup for Circa, and specially for the Festival season, this production stars the original cast of Middle Age Spread. |
