| Description |
The brainchild of innovative music group, Verona, and Downstage Theatre Director Murray Lynch, Geographical Cure radically explores the promise of an escape to a different life, an altered viewpoint, or the realisation of a distant dream. In separate vignettes, linked thematically and through the use of live music, film, animation and dialogue, the six member band and two actors brilliantly weave the stories of a number of individuals in songs and scenes, as they examine how a landscape shapes our destiny and how peoples' lives often intersect in unusual and unforseen ways. Geographical Cure presents a multisensory celebration of this land we call home. |
