Description It’s not easy being young, brown, and gay – especially when God and your mother are watching. This runaway hit of the 2013 Auckland Fringe was award-winning playwright Victor Rodger’s response to the protest around New Zealand’s Civil Union Bill. A parade of characters collides in a series of hilarious and poignant monologues, from a camp, closeted member of the Destiny Church to an island mama whose beloved son turns out to be gay. Filthy and funny, raw and emotional, this show will make you laugh, cry and believe in the power of love.
