| Description |
Barber of Seville was written in 1775, and tells of how a possessive old fogey, Dr. Bartholo, is determined to marry his pretty ward, Rosine, who regards him as "poison". But Rosine has fallen for Count Almaviv, who enlists the help of everyone's favorite Barber, Figaro to save the young woman from her lecherous guardian. |
