| Description |
Originally created by Rodney Fisher and Robyn Archer and performed in Adelaide in the mid 70s, the piece is a compilation of Brecht’s work – drawn from various plays and poems, and devised on the group of performers as an ensemble work. Each time I re-visit it, edit and revise the texts we use, the relevance of Brecht’s words to our world today never ceases to amaze me and I hope you will also be struck by the parallels. Our show tonight takes its text from The Good Person of Szechuan and Fear and Misery in the Third Reich, plus a variety of Brecht’s poems. |
