| Description | We paid a visit on Thursday night to the Joss House which the Chinese at the encampment near the lower end of Ironbark Gully, have just erected. A prayer was conducted. On one side of the temple sat the orchestra which comprised of two individuals with a hautboy or reed, another with a Chinese drum, a fourth with a gong and a fifth with a pair of cracked symbols. | |||||||
