Based on the classic children's novel by Francis Hodgson Burnett, Mary Lennox awakens in India to discover that her parents and all the residents have been killed in a cholera epidemic. Sent to her uncle's gloomy mansion on the Yorkshire moors, she is left alone to wander the halls in search of mysterious crying, among the ghosts and memories that still remain within the manor walls. No one will tell her the truth about the boy who has been hidden away, nor may she enter the garden that has been locked since the death of her Aunt Lily. |
