| Description |
Story-teller and photographer William Yang presents a moving account of two communities haunted by the shadows of history: Aboriginal people in outback Enngonia and German migrants in South Australia, interned during the World Wars. Extraordinary stories come to life in Yang's uniquely intimate monologues with slides - part social documentary, part personal observation. Yang combines his own original photography with precious found images stowed away by families for generations, to take us on a journey of dispossession and reconciliation. |
