Description The students of East High must deal with issues of first love, friends and family while balancing their classes and extracurricular activities. The story follows basketball captain Troy and brainy but shy Gabriella who discover they have a secret passion for singing. When they decide to audition for the school musical, it sends shockwaves through the High School's rigid social cliques.
