The proprietors of the Chinese Theatre pitched their large tent on Wednesday in the centre of the camp at Golden point. The theatre was well attended both last night and the night before, and up to a late hour the discordant noise of the gongs and the other music being discoursed for the delectation of Chinese theatre-goers could be heard all over the Eastern Borough. |
