Description The Book of Job is one of the most fraught texts of our culture. It is a book from the old testament. It is a book about why we all suffer. It's about why you think “oh, jeez, I thought stuff was meant to be good but now it's bad, damn.”

Also, portions of it simply don’t make sense. Despite this, truly astonishing poetry remains, rendering the text painfully compelling. We turned it into a play. It features God. God is a big man in the sky. He is a big dude and he is extremely scary. He has a big beard and is very very strong. I like God but I'm not sure he likes me
